reflection
From this assignment, I'm able to encourage your thinking and discussion about space(s) and its qualities through architectural conceptualisation, and show the importance of using the art of crafting and making: drawing(s) and model(s) as a critical design tool in the design process
In this assignment, I learnt about how to connect our architectural platform to the tropical forest setting we chose. Besides that, I learnt about how to use suitable construction material for the architectural platform built.
This is a group assignment and I was in a group of 3. As I was the leader for this assignment, I learnt how to guide my members towards our goal. Throughout the assignment, I ensured each of my members communicated well and this prevented many unnecessary arguments when having different opinions.
Although this is a 4 weeks duration assignment, I had to make sure everything was well planned to avoid any time wasting. My group members and I stayed back in the studio to complete our assignment. Eventually, we managed to complete our model and drawings on time.
