From this assignment, I'm able to generate design through conscious consideration of spatial typologies, section-plan relationship, contextual conditions and considerations of human scale, natural light, materiality, and textures, and communicate design through effective visual and expressive verbal presentation to peer, tutors, and architects from industry.
In this assignment, I learnt about the meaning of poetic architecture as I was newly introduced to this term. I learnt many things especially modifying elements which are elements that would create the poeticness of my structure. I also learnt to explore the use of different materiality in this project.
As this assignment has a short duration to complete, I faced time management problem. As this is a group work, we managed to delegated the task properly among us. We also manage our time to seek for tutorial properly as our tutor was not able to attend the tutorial class physical.
At first part of this assignment, I struggled to come out with an idea for our concentric design along with my group members, we did plenty of sketches and we eventually work it through and settle down with the idea we discuss and sketch out.
