After viewing the list of architects, I chose the building Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport by Santiago Calatrava as it seem very interesting to me

I started off by creating a google document and briefly listing down the architectural building materials and structural building materials

I did some research by watching some Youtube videos about the building construction for the building I chose and also by reading articles online

After compiling most of the required information into the google document, I transfer the information into canva slides

I arranged the information supporting with images to ensure the board looks interesting and understandable

I also play around with colours for my board to ensure it looks nice and viewable

For the installation of one material of the building, I decided to draw it manually on a paper

I scanned the drawing into the canva board and arranged it accordingly

From this assignment, I'm able to distinguish between architectural and structural materials, describe types of building materials used for buildings, and demonstrate the installation of building materials on buildings.

In this assignment, it requires me to look for additional information by watching external videos found online and not by just extracting information directly from the website. Besides that, I also learnt about the installation of material as I was required to sketch it.

This is an assignment where I understand and gain knowledge about how a beautiful building is formed with both structural and architectural materials. These information would benefit me a lot as I'm studying architecture.
