We discussed in Google Meet about which traditional street we want to choose to focus on the issues and we decided to choose Jalan Tun H.S Lee as most of us had done the sketch journal for that street

Jong Joe Yee created the google document and we started filling in the issues and solutions we observe from Jalan Tun H.S Lee

We also attended every tutorial to ask and understand more about what are we lacking for our proposal and got feedbacks from our tutor

Our tutor gave us feedbacks on where can we improve, take note and add on to for the proposal

After completing the proposal, we then proceed to do the poster and slides for the proposal

Jong Joe Yee helped to record and also edited the video

A video presentation was also done by the whole group via Zoom to present about the issue and our solution towards it

reflection

From this assignment, I'm able to analyze architectural language and issues based on cross cultural awareness and provide tools for the analysis of specific architectural situations that inform second year design studios.

In this assignment, I got to understand well about what the issues of Jalan Tun H.S Lee based on the topic we chose. I also acknowledged the problems of conserving and preserving heritage building which I did not have any idea about it before.

As the assignment is a group work, I learnt how to communicate with my members when we were sharing information and giving out opinions for the proposal. I also learnt how to stay open minded to any opinions given and received.
