Assignments
These are the assignments I had for TAA...

01
CONTEXTUAL STUDY SKETCH JOURNAL OF A TRADITIONAL STREET
This project introduces ways of reading the important "lexicons" of traditional streets through the tangible qualities of architecture and space, and the intangible socio-cultural attributes. It enables students to understand the specific contexts that construct the distinctive place identity and sociocultural meanings of the traditional streets. Observations are captured in a sketch journal and a written summary.
02
POSTER AND SEMINAR-CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN ASIAN ARCHITECTURE
Students are required to conduct critical interpretations on the salient issues observed from their site visit. Using the problem-based learning approach, an appraisal framework is developed within the specified scope through weekly facilitated group discussion guided by tutors. The learning process leads to a proposal of potential solutions where findings are presented in the form of a research poster and a seminar presentation.
